SANTIAGO ELEMENTARY SCHOOL

School Location:

The school is situated at Santiago Norte, City of San Fernando, La Union, along Don Francisco Ortega Highway and about 1.5 kilometers away from the city proper. The place belongs to a third-class barangay where farming is the main source of income for most of the family, although there are also some families or parents that went to other countries to earn more which can be seen by the fast-growing number of new big and beautiful houses in the area.

Beside the school is a two-storey barangay hall. The place has also an ORT Day Care Center where kindergarten entrants came from. Most of the learners are residents from the said barangay, others are from Camansi, Langcuas, Santiago Sur, Dallangayan Oeste and Pias.

For some parents who have bigger income, they send their children to private educational institution.

Santiago Elementary School is a learning institution that enhances the safety, health and well-being of the learners. It develops the total personality and looks after the holistic and values development of the school children. It guarantees safe and protective classrooms and facilities and provides services to meet the needs and welfare of the pupils in the teaching-learning process.
